Please read carefully before placing an order. By commissioning Sugar In Lust, you agree to the terms outlined below.
All orders require a minimum of two weeks’ notice. Dates are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis and availability is limited.
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due no later than 48 hours before collection or delivery.
Orders placed with less than two weeks’ notice may be accepted at our sole discretion and may incur a rush fee.
Cancellations made more than 14 days before the scheduled date will receive a full refund of the deposit.
Cancellations between 7–14 days before the date will receive a 50% refund of the deposit.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the date are non-refundable, as ingredients and materials will have already been purchased and preparation commenced.
In the unlikely event that we must cancel your order due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund within 5 working days.
Collection is available from our London kitchen by prior arrangement. Exact address and time will be confirmed in your order email.
Delivery is available within London and surrounding areas by quote. Delivery fees depend on distance, date and cake size. We do not offer nationwide postal delivery for bespoke cakes.
Please ensure someone is available to receive the cake at the agreed time. We cannot accept liability for cakes left unattended.
All cakes should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Buttercream cakes do not require refrigeration on the day of collection if the ambient temperature is below 22°C.
Once sliced, any remaining cake should be refrigerated in an airtight container and consumed within 48 hours for the best taste and texture.
Sugar In Lust is not liable for damage caused by improper storage or handling after collection or delivery.
Every cake is handmade and unique. While we will match your chosen colour palette and design direction as closely as possible, slight variations in flower placement, shade and
size are natural and part of the bespoke process. We reserve the right to photograph completed cakes for our portfolio, website and social media.
If you prefer your cake not to be photographed, please let us know in writing at the time of booking.
We accept payment by bank transfer only. Payment details will be provided in your confirmation email.
Your order is not confirmed until the deposit has cleared. No cakes will be released without full payment.

Our kitchen handles all of the above allergens and, while thorough cleaning is carried out between orders, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
Nut-free requests: We can accommodate nut-free orders with advance notice. Please inform us at the time of booking if you require a nut-free cake.
Dietary requirements: We offer limited gluten-free options on request. Please discuss your needs during the consultation so we can advise on suitability.
If you or your guests have a severe allergy, please contact us before ordering so we can discuss the risks and whether we are able to safely accommodate your request.
